Land Manager

Overview

Our client, a well-established and respected residential property developer operating across the London region, is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Land Manager to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to play a key role in sourcing, appraising, and acquiring land for high-quality residential developments. You\’ll work closely with senior leadership and planning consultants to shape the future growth of the business.

Responsibilities

• Identify and appraise potential land opportunities across London and surrounding areas.
• Lead negotiations on land acquisitions, including both unconditional and subject-to-planning deals.
• Maintain and develop relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, and consultants.
• Prepare and present feasibility studies, market analysis, and land offers.
• Work alongside planning teams to manage applications and promote land through the planning process.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in land acquisition, ideally within the residential development sector.
• Strong network of contacts within London and the wider Greater London market.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Sound understanding of planning policy and development appraisals.
• Self-motivated, commercially minded, and results-driven.
• Full UK driving licence.
