Job Description

Health and Safety Advisor / Health & Safety Manager\\n\\nConcrete Structures & Groundworks\\n\\nLondon or Norfolk\\n\\n£50,000 – £70,000 + Package\\n\\nAbout the Opportunities:\\n\\nAs a Health & Safety Advisor or Manager (I am looking for both) these roles will either be partly office based in London, covering sites around the London area, or they will be site based on a major project in Norfolk.\\n\\nAs part of a wider group, this company carries out everything from demolition and remediation, through to RC frames and groundworks (plus more). Each of the packages this business complete range in value from £1m to above £50 million each and clients include a mixture of top residential developers and commercial main contractors.\\n\\nIt will be your responsibility to oversee works being carried out on site, while making sure standards and procedures are being maintained, people are working in the correct manner and training is being incorporated across the board. Your role will report directly to the HSEQ Director for the group.\\n\\nAbout the Employer:\\n\\nWith offices in and around London, this business is going from strength to strength.

Current group turnover exceeds £300m covering a variety of works including, demolition, remediation, groundworks, RC frames, and more. They have succeeded in growth over the past five years by delivering on expectations and developing their relationships. As an organisation they stand for excellence in every way from health & safety through to appearance on site.

They have made health profit year on year, even while others have struggled with the wider economic issues over the past couple of years. Basic qualifications such as NEBOSH will be required and due to the working area, individuals will need to be based in or around London or Norfolk.\\n\\nAs our client is looking for long term / permanent employees, they also look for longevity of employment in applicant’s CV’s, so please be aware it will be a disadvantage if you can’t show stable periods of over a couple of years with each employer.\\n\\nAbout the Rewards / Salary:\\n\\nFor these positions we are targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere from £50,000 to £70,000 per annum.\\n\\nSpecific salary will be negotiated on a case by case basis with experience and suitability taken into account.
