About the Role
An established and growing construction business is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and drive health, safety and wellbeing standards across a portfolio of high–profile projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive health and safety professional to influence company–wide best practice, ensure compliance, and support operational teams in delivering projects safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health and safety strategies across multiple projects.
- Conduct audits, inspections and site reviews.
- Provide advice and support to operational and project teams.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver training and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Produce and monitor health and safety KPIs.
Requirements
- Proven Health & Safety management experience within construction.
- Strong background within main contracting or commercial fit–out environments .
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent NEBOSH qualification).
- Excellent knowledge of UK H&S legislation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence teams at all levels of the business.
