As a Health & Safety Advisor your role will be split between the office and sites, covering 3-5 live sites while reporting to the company directors.
Each of the schemes we are looking at involve concrete frame and associated groundwork packages that value from £5 million to £15 million each. It will be your responsibility to oversee works being carried out and to work with the teams to get the safety standards desired. The health & safety of all the staff is of the utmost importance with this company seeing it not only as a box ticking exercise, but a cultural belief to constantly improve safety standards on site to make sure everyone goes home each day unharmed.
REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this role, applicants need to have worked for a rival Groundwork or RC Frame subcontractor in the UK in this exact role. Basic qualifications such as NEBOSH will be required and due to the working area, individuals will need to be based in or around North London, West London, or the Northern Home Counties. As our client is looking for long term / permanent employees, they also look for longevity of employment in applicants' CVs, so please be aware that if you have moved jobs too regularly, that will be a disadvantage.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
For this position we are targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere from £40,000 to £55,000 per annum. Specific salary will be negotiated on a case by case basis with experience and suitability taken into account. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered; travel allowance OR company vehicle in addition to standard benefits.
