Fire Protection door installers / carpenter

Project Duration:

  • 3-year long-term project
  • Monday to Friday (Saturdays available)
  • Up to 60 hours per week

Pay & Hours:

  • £26.00 per hour
  • Working hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm (10 hours per day)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Fire Door Sets
  • All aspects of fire door Carpenter
  • Working in a team and also independently when required
  • Liaise with management team on a daily basis
  • Carry out Fire door assessments and record findings

Requirements:

  • The NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-job experience
  • Proven experience working as a Fire Door Installer
  • Experience in working in the social housing/health/high street sector and a trade background experience would be useful
  • Valid DBS check
  • Proven experience as a Fire door installer / 2nd fix carpenter
  • Relevant certification (e.g., FIRAS or equivalent) – preferred
  • Willingness to relocate / work away from home
  • Non-UK nationals must hold Settled or Pre-Settled Status
