An innovative and rapidly growing business within the housing and development sector is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join their team. This is a stand-alone role offering the opportunity to play a key part in the future growth of the business, leading the finance function while supporting long-term strategic and commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the company’s finance function
  • Producing management accounts, cashflow reporting, and financial analysis
  • Preparing 5-10 year financial forecasting and strategic business plans
  • Supporting business growth, investment planning, and commercial strategy
  • Conducting financial feasibility assessments for land acquisition opportunities
  • Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls across the business
  • Liaising with external accountants, investors, and key stakeholders
  • Providing financial insight and support to the senior leadership team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader
  • Strong experience with long-term financial forecasting and strategic planning
  • Commercially minded with excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Experience within property, construction, development, or housing sectors advantageous
  • Understanding of land acquisition feasibility and development finance preferred
  • Ability to operate autonomously within a growing business
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
