My client is a well-established façade subcontractor delivering high-spec curtain walling, cladding, and full external envelope packages across London and the Southeast. Due to a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to bring an experienced Estimator into their team.
The Role: You’ll be responsible for managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, with a focus on curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, and façade refurbishment schemes. You’ll work closely with the commercial team and Directors to help secure new work and ensure pricing is competitive and accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Preparing take-offs and pricing for full envelope packages
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
- Attending pre- and post-tender meetings when required
- Supporting handover to delivery teams
Requirements:
- Previous estimating experience with a façade or cladding subcontractor
- Strong knowledge of curtain walling, rainscreen, or external envelope systems
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines
- Confident using estimating software and Excel
