I m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist fa ade contractor based in Hemel Hempstead who is looking to appoint an experienced Facade Designer to join their growing technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering a wide range of fa ade packages across residential, commercial and refurbishment projects throughout London and the South East.
The company operates as a design and build specialist, delivering rainscreen cladding, SFS, glazing and other external envelope systems from concept through to completion.
The Role Working closely with the Technical Manager, Contracts Managers and commercial team, you ll be responsible for producing accurate design information and supporting projects from pre-construction through to installation.
Typical duties will include: * Producing detailed fa ade drawings using Auto CAD (and Revit where applicable). * Developing construction details and fabrication drawings. * Coordinating designs with architects, structural engineers and main contractors. * Ensuring designs comply with current Building Regulations and project specifications. * Attending design meetings and resolving technical queries throughout the project lifecycle. * Supporting value engineering and design development where required.
