Assistant Services (M&E) Manager £40,000–£45,000 + package, dependent on experience Location: Oxfordshire / Surrounding Areas A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Services (M&E) Manager to join a leading construction business delivering a diverse range of high-value projects across the UK. The successful candidate will be either mechanically or electrically biased and will support the delivery of M&E packages, working closely with specialist subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team. Projects span a variety of sectors, including pharmaceutical, commercial, automotive and healthcare, providing excellent exposure to complex and technically demanding schemes. The Role Working alongside the Services Project Manager, your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the coordination of M&E design and liaising with external consultants. Supervising specialist M&E subcontractors through effective communication and proactive site involvement. Supporting the day-to-day running of the site and ensuring M&E works progress in line with the programme. Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, compliance and communication. Attending programme meetings and helping ensure the agreed construction programme is maintained. Progressing M&E design queries and providing technical support to the project team. Working with Building Control to ensure systems meet the required standards for handover. Liaising with client consultants throughout the construction and commissioning phases. Coordinating the demonstration and handover of completed systems. Supporting a collaborative, solutions-focused approach across the project. About You We're looking for someone with: HND or equivalent qualification in an M&E-related discipline. Proven experience delivering mechanical or electrical packages on new-build construction projects. Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. The ability to work effectively with subcontractors, consultants and project teams. A collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork. Full UK driving licence – essential.
