Specialist Interiors Subcontractor Location: Hertfordshire / London Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + Benefits An established and respected interiors subcontractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team, focusing on drylining packages across high-profile commercial and residential projects in London and the South East. With a strong presence in the interiors market, this company delivers complex fit-out and drylining works for Tier 1 contractors and blue-chip clients. Due to continued growth in their drylining division, they are looking to appoint an Estimator who can confidently take control of tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission. Role & Responsibilities: * Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for drylining and partitioning packages * Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations * Work closely with the commercial and pre-construction teams * Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings when required * Assist in post-tender negotiations and handovers to delivery teams Requirements: * Proven experience estimating drylining or interiors packages * Strong knowledge of SFS, partitions, ceilings, and plastering systems * Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness * Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines * Based within commutable distance to Hertfordshire or North London offices Benefits: * Competitive salary based on experience * Strong pipeline of repeat business * Supportive and collaborative commercial team * Opportunity to join a reputable interiors subcontractor with career progression potential
