Our client, a respected building and restoration contractor, is seeking a talented Intermediate Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. About the Role

As an Intermediate Estimator, you’ll support the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders across a wide variety of projects—from high-spec residential new builds to heritage façade restorations. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to prepare cost estimates
  • Assist with take-offs, pricing, and compiling bid submissions

  • Support senior estimators and the wider pre-construction team in delivering timely, accurate tender returns

About You

  • Previous experience in an estimating role, ideally within a main contractor or specialist restoration contractor
  • Good understanding of construction methods and materials, particularly in high-end residential or heritage sectors

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
