As Design Manager, you will be responsible for: * Managing the design process from tender through to completion. * Coordinating drawings and information between clients, consultants, and subcontractors. * Ensuring designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards. * Working closely with procurement teams to support material and subcontractor selection. * Overseeing design packages including joinery, washrooms, drylining, and fire doors. * Providing design solutions that balance quality, cost, and programme requirements. The Candidate * Proven experience as a Design Manager within interiors, fit-out, or specialist subcontracting. * Strong technical knowledge of joinery, washrooms, drylining, fire doors or similar trades. * Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and resolve design issues efficiently. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to design challenges.
