About the Company

Our client is a quality-focused Façade Contractor specialising in the Design and Installation of Curtain Walling, Light-Weight Steel Framing Systems, Render, Brick Slips, External Wall Insulation Systems, and Cladding for both New Build and Refurbishment Projects. With a strong track record of delivery for major clients including ISG, Willmott Dixon, and Kier, they are well-respected in the market. Based in Essex but delivering projects nationally (scale dependent), the company operates with a steady turnover of approximately £30m and is poised for another year of healthy growth with several new and repeat clients secured.

About the Role

Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Façade Designer to join their in-house design team. Reporting to the Head of Design, the successful candidate will work on a range of projects from tender through to construction, producing detailed façade design packages in line with project specifications, client expectations, and industry standards.

Duties:

  • Produce high-quality 2D/3D façade design drawings and details using AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Coordinate design work with architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Attend design meetings and site visits as required
  • Prepare technical submittals and support the procurement team with design information
