A well-established construction business is looking for an experienced Planner to join its team and support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing and monitoring project programmes, working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams and the wider supply chain to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on programme. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes. Monitor progress against planned activities and key milestones. Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities. Work closely with project teams to develop mitigation strategies. Prepare programme updates, reports and progress reviews. Support pre-construction and tender programmes. Coordinate procurement, design and construction activities. Provide planning support from project commencement through to completion. About You We are looking for a Planner with strong construction experience, ideally gained within a main contractor environment. You will have: Proven experience planning construction projects. A strong understanding of construction sequencing and methodologies. Experience using Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6 or similar. Excellent analytical and organisational skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. A proactive approach to problem-solving. The ability to work effectively with Project Managers, Site Teams and subcontractors. Experience across commercial, residential, refurbishment, education, heritage or low-carbon projects would be advantageous.
