ABOUT THE ROLE

• Oversee contracts
• Work closely with pre-construction team with value engineering
• Manage Subcontractors
• CVRs
• Manage variations
• Submit monthly valuations
• Work closely with the commercial team
• Final Accounts

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful, all applicants must have worked as a specialist façade/building envelope subcontractor in the UK. The client will only consider candidates with a proven background in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management in the building envelope industry who have worked for a rival contractor. You will be responsible for delivering projects valued between £10m and £70m, working for blue-chip building contractors such as Skanska, Lendlease, and Mace. Depending on the project size, you may have an Assistant QS for support, but you will receive full support from your Senior Commercial Team. The successful applicant will have proven experience with a façade contractor.
