Our client is a strong Groundwork and Civil Engineering contractor that has built up a great reputation across the UK, delivering projects between the values of £5m to £15m. Our client is active across the Residential and Commercial industries. Now due to healthy order books they are looking to grow their Safety team.

About the role

They’re looking for a Health and Safety Advisor in Essex to take a hands-on role across live sites, leading day-to-day safety management, producing risk assessments and method statements, carrying out inspections and audits, and working closely with project teams to uphold high standards and a strong, proactive safety culture on sizeable projects.

About the requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • At least 3 years experience as a Health and Safety Advisor, ideally with a Subcontractor.
  • A good understanding of regulations and site safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with different site teams.

About the package

  • Salary in the region of £40,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience).
  • Travel expenses covered.
