ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Overview: As part of a specialist team, you’ll be immersed in a range of professional building surveying tasks, with a primary focus on dilapidations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing Schedules of Dilapidations, including detailed costing
- Creating Schedules of Tenants Lease Liabilities
- Offering strategic advice on lease obligations and break options
- Negotiating settlement claims with landlords and tenants
- Providing procurement and project management support
- Advising on Section 18 Valuations in line with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1927
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- A degree qualification, preferably RICS accredited
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
- Excellent client-facing abilities and attention to detail
- Capability to work under strict targets and timelines
- Additional experience in commercial building surveys, vendor surveys, and due diligence reports is desirable but not essential
