Whether advising on planned maintenance, providing expert witness reports, or leading major works, we pride ourselves on delivering practical, high-quality outcomes that meet both immediate needs and long-term goals.\\n\\nAbout the Role\\n\\nMy client is seeking an experienced and motivated Building Surveyor with strong valuations expertise to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of building surveying services, with a particular focus on valuations, technical due diligence, defect diagnosis, and project management.\\n\\nYou will work closely with a diverse client base β€” including property managers, investors, landlords, and private clients β€” providing expert advice that supports informed decision-making across residential, commercial, and mixed-use portfolios. Your work will span across initial inspections, report writing, strategic advice, and managing refurbishment and repair projects, ensuring best practice and regulatory compliance throughout.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a confident, commercially minded surveyor who thrives on variety, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to maintaining the highest professional standards.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Undertake building surveys, inspections, and valuations across a range of property types\\n\\n * Prepare high-quality, detailed technical and valuation reports\\n\\n * Conduct defect analysis, condition assessments, and reinstatement cost assessments\\n\\n * Support project delivery including contract administration and project management\\n\\n * Provide technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals\\n\\n * Liaise directly with clients, providing clear and actionable advice\\n\\n * Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices\\n\\nMy client will offer a supportive environment where your expertise is valued, and your career can grow. If you’re ready to take the next step in your surveying career with a respected and forward-thinking consultancy, we would love to hear from you.\\n\\nAbout the Requirements\\n\\n * MRICS qualified (or equivalent)\\n\\n * Proven experience in building surveying with strong valuations experience\\n\\n * Excellent report writing and communication skills\\n\\n * A client-focused approach with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships\\n\\n * A proactive, organised, and commercially aware mindset\\n\\n * Full UK driving licence (travel to site inspections required)\\n\\nAbout the Salary\\n\\nSalary is negotiable, dependent on the individuals experience but up to Β£60,000.
