An innovative and rapidly growing business within the housing and development sector is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join their team. This is a stand-alone role offering the opportunity to play a key part in the future growth of the business, leading the finance function while supporting long-term strategic and commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the company’s finance function
- Producing management accounts, cashflow reporting, and financial analysis
- Preparing 5–10 year financial forecasting and strategic business plans
- Supporting business growth, investment planning, and commercial strategy
- Conducting financial feasibility assessments for land acquisition opportunities
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls across the business
- Liaising with external accountants, investors, and key stakeholders
- Providing financial insight and support to the senior leadership team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader
- Strong experience with long-term financial forecasting and strategic planning
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience within property, construction, development, or housing sectors advantageous
- Understanding of land acquisition feasibility and development finance preferred
- Ability to operate autonomously within a growing business
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
