An established and highly regarded retail fit-out contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver fast-track shopfitting projects for premium retail brands across the UK. Known for quality, pace, and consistency, the business offers a strong project pipeline and long-term stability.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role with full responsibility for projects from initial survey through to handover and commercial close-out.
ABOUT THE ROLEYou will take full ownership of retail fit-out projects, managing all aspects of delivery to ensure programmes, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Key responsibilities include:- Managing retail fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients during delivery
- Leading design coordination, subcontractor procurement, and programme planning
- Maintaining full control of site safety, quality, programme, and cost
- Managing variations, risk, and overall commercial performance
- Coordinating site teams and subcontractors to achieve snag-free delivery
- Overseeing handover, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and defects management
- Strong ownership mindset
- Calm and effective under pressure
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Commercially aware and quality-driven
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within retail fit-out / shopfitting
- Strong technical and trade knowledge
- Experience delivering fast-track, multi-site retail projects
