Senior UI/UX Designer (Freelance) – Figma, Interactive Prototypes & Motion Graphics

Job Type: Freelance

Start Date: ASAP

Work Arrangement: Remote (with occasional in-person collaboration at London Bridge office)

Your Role

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and prototyping seamless, engaging user interfaces and experiences. Your work will be integral to our workflow, where interactive prototypes in Figma are passed to our development team to bring them to life. In addition to your UI/UX design expertise, you’ll contribute to our video content with motion graphics, helping us bring our projects to life through dynamic visual storytelling.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive Figma prototypes with a focus on functionality, transitions, and usability.
  • Create high-fidelity UI/UX designs that are clear, intuitive, and visually engaging, for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure smooth handoffs of interactive designs.
  • Contribute to the creation of motion graphics and animations for video content.
  • Ensure designs align with our user needs and project goals, and adapt them based on feedback.


What You’ll Need

Essential Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing interactive prototypes and detailed user flows.
  • Expertise in Figma, especially with interactive features like prototyping, components, and smart animate.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics, using tools such as After Effects or similar for video content.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, with experience designing for interactive and real-time applications.
  • Ability to create design systems, UI components, and detailed documentation for developers.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams in a freelance setting.


Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine for UI/UX implementation or interactive application design.
  • Experience with video production and editing.
  • Knowledge of front-end development processes or HTML/CSS basics.
