We are seeking a versatile Creative Communications Designer to join our Commercial team, who will not only be responsible for creating visually compelling and innovative marketing materials but will also take on a leadership role in certain marketing initiatives. This role encompasses more than just design; it involves the strategic planning and execution of events, targeted advertising campaigns, and leading social media strategies. The ideal candidate will possess an expert eye for design, layout, typography, and colour, as well as a talent for developing unique and impactful presentations and materials. The candidate will also be expected to engage externally, pitching and presenting our brand and services. This role offers an opportunity to step out from behind the scenes, taking on a leadership role, without necessarily being in a direct sales position. We are looking for a candidate who can balance design expertise with strategic marketing leadership.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and design high-quality marketing collateral including presentations, pitch decks, marketing campaigns, and social media content.
  • Generate visually engaging graphics for websites, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Lead and collaborate with internal teams alongside the Head of Commercial to craft engaging, targeted social media content.
  • Take part in developing and executing the strategic planning of our marketing initiatives, which will take the form of engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain said social media content and advertisement through channels such as LinkedIn advertising, ensuring organised records of marketing metrics and results.
  • Assist in the organisation and execution of promotional and marketing events.
  • Create long and short-form video content, including reels, social videos, and GIFs etc. Must be comfortable shooting and creating video footage.
  • Assist with website design and updates, ensuring an intuitive user experience.
  • Assist in the copywriting of all marketing and promotional materials.
  • Maintain the company's branding guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Conduct market research to stay current with design trends and competitors' marketing strategies.
  • Manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously, from conceptualisation to deliverables.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as photographers and printers, to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials.
  • Test the responsiveness of all assets across all platforms (i.e. email templates, websites, landing pages, etc.).
  • Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Marketing/Commercial department.
  • Working alongside the Head of Commercial, investigate and set up a new CRM system for the commercial team, to assist in handling and successfully executing new business initiatives.

The successful candidate will bring a combination of creativity, enthusiasm, and professionalism to the role, contributing significantly to our marketing and commercial objectives.

Benefits:

  • Centrally located office in London Bridge, moments away from mainline and tube stations.
  • After-work social events.
  • BUPA Private health insurance after successful probation.
  • Free yoga sessions with More Yoga.
  • Cycle to work scheme, with secure cycle storage and showers.
  • Travel card loans after successful probation.
  • Hybrid work environment.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Access to Headspace wellbeing app.
  • Happy Hour on Fridays.
  • 20 days annual leave + public holidays, increasing to 23 after 5 years of service.
