A growing cost consultancy is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its dynamic team. About the Role
As a Graduate QS, you will support senior colleagues across all stages of the project lifecycle—from early feasibility through to final account. You’ll be involved in measurement, estimating, procurement, cost analysis, reporting, and site-based duties, gaining the technical and professional foundations needed for chartership.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Duties
* Assist in preparing cost plans, feasibility studies, and budget estimates
* Carry out measurement using digital tools and produce bills of quantities
* Support tender documentation preparation, including pricing schedules and scope documents
* Help evaluate tenders and prepare comparison reports
* Contribute to value engineering exercises and cost benchmarking
Post-Contract Duties
* Assist with contract administration under JCT and NEC forms
* Help assess interim valuations, variations, and payment applications
* Maintain cost reports, cashflow forecasts, and change logs
* Attend site visits to monitor progress and gather data for reporting
* Support in preparing final accounts and close-out documentation
Professional Development
* Work closely with senior QS staff to gain structured guidance toward MRICS
* Participate in internal APC training sessions and technical workshops
* Build communication, client-handling, and commercial awareness skills
About the Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related xiskglj construction discipline (or completing final year)
Interest in pursuing MRICS chartership
Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
Comfortable using digital measurement tools and Microsoft 365
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while taking initiative
