Cityscape is working with an independent London cost consultancy that’s continuing to grow its team and is now looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their QS career who wants proper exposure to projects and clients, with excellent APC support and career progression.

You’ll be supporting senior surveyors across a mix of commercial office schemes and living sector projects (residential, BTR, mixed-use) with involvement across the full project lifecycle, from pre-contract through to final account.

Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Assisting with cost planning and budgeting
  • Supporting procurement and tender processes
  • Helping manage contracts and project finances
  • Attending client and site meetings
  • Working closely with senior team members to build your experience

Candidates should have:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role (consultancy side preferred)
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Working towards (or keen to start) APC / chartership
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset

A salary up to £45,000 is on offer, plus a full benefits package. The company has a modern central London office in the City and hybrid working with 4 days a week in the office.
