About this role
We're looking for a Junior Designer to join our growing Studio Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their creative career with an interest in developing their skills across video, motion and design. You'll work alongside experienced designers, videographers and creative specialists to create high-quality content for some of the UK's best-known brands. One day you might be designing social assets, presentation decks or campaign visuals; the next, you could be supporting a shoot, editing short-form video content or experimenting with motion graphics and AI-powered creative tools. We're looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to learn. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, explore new creative disciplines, and gain experience across a variety of projects, with support from an experienced team invested in your growth.
Role responsibilities
- Creating engaging assets including social media content, presentations, campaign materials and marketing collateral
- Assisting with the creation and editing of video content for social, digital and campaign activity
- Supporting on shoots, including helping with camera, lighting, audio and production set-up
- Creating simple animations and motion graphics for social and digital content
- Supporting the development and delivery of creative content across digital, social and print channels
- Working closely with account teams and creative colleagues to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
- Ensuring all work aligns with client brand guidelines and creative briefs
- Contributing ideas during creative brainstorms and campaign planning sessions
- Maintaining organised project files and supporting studio administration processes
- Staying up to date with creative, design, video, and social media trends
- Exploring new technologies, including AI tools, to improve creative output and efficiency
- Supporting new business pitches and agency marketing projects where required
Role requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in a design, creative, content or video-related role (agency or in-house experience preferred)
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual skills and creative thinking
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- An interest in video editing, motion design, and content creation
- Experience using Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar tools would be advantageous
- Understanding of social media content and what makes content engaging across different platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Full UK driving license, and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel to shoots and client locations when required
- Interest in emerging creative technologies and AI tools
