We are seeking to appoint a committed, organised, and proactive ADT Technician to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across our Art, Design and Technology faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for a practical, hands-on individual to play a key role in preparing, maintaining, and developing resources and facilities that enable students to succeed across a wide range of creative and technical disciplines including Food.

Start Date: October 2026 or sooner if possible

Term: Permanent (You are required to complete a 26 working weeks probation period before the appointment is confirmed)

Hours: 37 hours per week / 39 weeks (Term time + 1 week)

Working Day: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm and Friday - 8:00am to 3:30pm (part-time will be considered for the right candidate)

Grade: LG Grade 3, SCP 5-6 (Generic job description E9007b)

FTE salary: £25,583 - £25,989

Actual salary: £22,079.11 - £22,429.50

You will play a vital role in ensuring that lessons run smoothly by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and promoting high standards of health and safety at all times.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop practical resources, displays, and learning materials
  • Maintain accurate stock records and assist with ordering and inventory control

  • Show initiative, strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
