We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team, maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard across our sites. This role is offered on a seasonal temporary contract from March to October each year, with the opportunity to extend to full-time permanent for the right candidate. There are also additional winter night shift opportunities available for gritting work at £300 per shift!
Key Responsibilities
- General grounds maintenance and landscaping duties
- Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and pruning
- Litter picking and site tidiness
- Operating handheld machinery and maintenance equipment
- Supporting seasonal and reactive works as required
Essential Requirements
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Clear CRB/DBS check
- Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Desirable (but not essential)
- Tractor driving experience
- Hard landscaping experience
