Working within Deal Advisory, you will benefit from working within an ambitious and expanding team, resulting in a high level of exposure and responsibility from the start. The main function of the department is the provision of lead advisory services on corporate transactions, primarily disposals, fundraises, acquisitions and buy-outs. The Deal Advisory Analyst is expected to support the team across the entire deal advisory lifecycle. Responsibilities Undertaking research on prospective clients and their industries, preparing pitch decks where appropriate. Attending client meetings and preparing agendas. Performing comparable transaction analysis and determining appropriate valuation guides. Assisting with the preparation of key transaction-related marketing materials, primarily information and investment memorandums. Assisting with the preparation of financial forecast models. Identifying prospective investors / acquirers / targets using industry-specific research tools. Managing outreach processes, including holding preliminary conversations with prospective investors or acquirers. Reviewing and commenting on transaction-related legal documentation, such as heads of terms, from a commercial perspective. Assisting with the negotiation of key transaction terms; including performing net debt and working capital calculations. Assisting with the management of due diligence processes and preparation of responses to due diligence queries. Performing ad-hoc analysis and calculations, as required. Drafting articles and industry reports for publication on the company’s website and LinkedIn pages. Involvement in networking and business development opportunities. In this role, you will be fully supported in studying towards the ACA or CFA qualification, which will complement and enhance your on-the-job experience.
