Bodyshop Manager

Key responsibilities

• Lead Bodyshop team in line with the skills and behaviours associated with the Citygate Experience and Brand Values.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop to ensure the achievement of key targets.
• Continuously review and improve Bodyshop processes and systems to deliver increased levels of customer satisfaction whilst maximising profitability and quality of workmanship.
• Work with colleagues across Citygate to investigate and resolve complaints.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain both quality and value for money.
• Plan and manage stock levels to meet requirements and minimise costs.
• Manage and develop individuals within the team, monitoring staff training needs, ensuring training and development plans are in place and up to date for all members of the team.
• Work with individuals to address performance issues e.g. by providing coaching.
• Recruitment and selection for the Body Shop Team.
• Provide advice and sign-off on key issues.
• Oversee paint warranty claims processing, ensuring manufacturer's requirements are strictly adhered to.
• Plan and manage resource requirements e.g. consumables and specialist tools.
• Ensure opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist.

• Previous experience in a Bodyshop management role.
• Knowledge of Kerridge systems is advantageous.
