Basic Salary: £34,000 – £36,500 - Depending on qualifications OTE: £50,000 Guaranteed Bonus for the first 3 Months! New Technician Pay Plans Available! We have recently rolled out new pay plans for our Service Technicians which includes achievable uncapped OTE's and increased basic salaries depending on your qualifications. Your basic salary will increase the more you learn!

Role overview

We are looking for a passionate Service Technician to repair and service our vehicles to the highest standards possible. You will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business for the retailer.

Key responsibilities

  • To receive work from the workshop controller and carry out related checks, administration and protection routines
  • To assess tool and equipment requirements and communicate any related issues
  • To service and repair all vehicles
  • To report on all additional repair requirements as they are identified
  • To make written and verbal reports on service and repair in the workshop to the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisation
  • To complete all administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair work
  • To maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
  • To undertake vehicle road tests when necessary
  • To assist with development and training of other technicians
  • To attend meetings and training programmes as required
  • To perform other duties in support of other team members as required

About You

As a Service Technician, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

  • You will be a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician ideally with VAG group background
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
