As the Bodyshop VDA, your role is to estimate customer retail vehicles and convert into bookings to achieve key targets, profitability and deliver customer satisfaction while striving for continuous improvements.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Bodyshop Team in line with the skills and behaviours associated with the Citygate Experience and Brand Values.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop reception to ensure the achievement of key targets (e.g. BodyShop loading, customer journey, estimate conversion rates, labour sales).
- Continuously review and improve Bodyshop processes and systems to deliver increased levels of customer satisfaction while maximising profitability and quality of workmanship.
- Work with colleagues across Citygate to investigate and resolve customer complaints.
- Achieve estimating standards and KPIs.
- Provide SMART estimating within the service department.
- Upsell services.
- Manage and develop individuals within the team, monitoring staff training needs, ensuring training and development plans are in place and up to date for all members of the team.
- Provide advice and sign-off on key issues.
- Oversee paint warranty claims processing, ensuring manufacturer's requirements are strictly adhered to.
- Plan and manage resource requirements.
- Ensure opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist.
About You:
As a Bodyshop VDA, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
- Experience as a VDA / Vehicle Estimator.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong teamworking skills.
- Strong organisational ability.
