We are looking for an Aftersales Manager to manage the Technical Service Department and to work closely with the Customer Service team to achieve quality and customer care objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Technical Service Department, ensuring efficient operations and full compliance with manufacturer and group standards.
- Drive departmental performance, profitability, and KPI achievement through effective cost control, budgeting, and commercial management.
- Recruit, develop, and performance-manage staff, implementing training and development plans to maintain high technical standards.
- Lead and manage the Parts Department, ensuring efficient operations, accurate stock control, and strong commercial performance while delivering exceptional service to workshop, bodyshop, and retail customers.
- Monitor work in progress, cash flow, trade and warranty debtors, and produce regular performance reports.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and communicate relevant information to the team.
- Continually improve customer care standards and attend relevant meetings and training sessions to support business objectives.
About You:
As an Aftersales Manager you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience working as an Aftersales Manager within a main dealer.
- The ability to lead, manage and motivate your team to maximise every profit opportunity, whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
- A stable and proven track record in managing an Aftersales department and be able to demonstrate delivering a profitable result.
- A full clean driving licence.
