Working closely with Citygate Commercial Vehicle Sales Teams, the role ensures effective stock planning, disciplined pricing and margin control, and consistent performance standards across all locations. The position is instrumental in driving a high-performance culture, ensuring alignment to divisional and business-wide objectives, and continuously identifying opportunities to enhance commercial outcomes across the used van operation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead divisional used van performance, delivering gross profit against budget through effective stock, pricing, and sales strategy.
  • Develop and execute a clear used van strategy, optimising stock mix, volume, margin, and stock turn across all sites.
  • Partner with Sales Managers and site leadership to drive pricing discipline, improve deal quality, and maximise conversion.
  • Monitor performance and act decisively, identifying risks and opportunities to maintain strong commercial results.
  • Maintain competitive market positioning while protecting margin and return on investment.
  • Control key cost areas, including preparation, stocking charges, and ageing profile.
  • Oversee stock management, ensuring efficient inventory levels, vehicle movement, and availability for sale.
  • Collaborate with group functions, including buying and logistics teams, to support overall used vehicle performance.
