We are looking for a Purchase Ledger to ensure smooth running of accounts payable function and accounts department and to assist the Group Financial Accountant in producing accurate information in agreed format and time scales.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile invoices to purchase orders
- Scan, register and verify purchase ledger invoices
- Reconcile invoices with supplier statements and perform payment run
- Distribute invoices to relevant managers for signatures and filing upon receipt
- Ensure all invoices are correctly authorised within the authority limits
- Regular review of purchase ledger and payment on account
- Liaise with suppliers and managers to resolve invoice queries
- Provide assistance with other accounting functions as and when required
- Review registered invoices list on a regular basis and liaise with managers in order to get them processed
