We are currently recruiting for a Bodyshop Manager to join our Bodyshop, to lead and manage Citygate's Bodyshop to achieve key targets, profitability and deliver customer satisfaction and strive for continuous improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • To lead Bodyshop team in line with the skills and behaviours associated with the Citygate Experience and Brand Values.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop to ensure the achievement of key targets.
  • Continuously reviewing and improving Bodyshop processes and systems to deliver increased levels of customer satisfaction whilst maximising profitability and quality of workmanship.
  • Working with colleagues across Citygate to investigate and resolve complaints.
  • Negotiating with suppliers to obtain both quality and value for money.
  • Planning and managing stock levels to meet requirements and minimise costs.
  • To manage and develop individuals within the team, monitoring staff training needs, ensuring training and development plans are in place and up to date for all members of the team.
  • Working with individuals to address performance issues e.g. by providing coaching.
  • Recruitment and selection for the Body Shop Team.
  • Providing advice and sign-off on key issues.
  • Oversee paint warranty claims processing, ensuring manufacturer's requirements are strictly adhered to.
  • To plan and manage resource requirements e.g. consumables and specialist tools.
  • Ensures opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist.
