Joining us as a Service Transition Manager 12m FTC

Our Service Transition Manager will lead service transition activities, working closely with business owners, project managers, design and operations teams, as well as partners and suppliers, to ensure the seamless implementation of new services. This role will be responsible for establishing and documenting Service Management procedures, with a focus on measurable performance and continuous improvement following launch.

You\'ll receive a salary of up to £58,000, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Develop end-to-end support structures for new services, including Processes, SLAs, and KPIs
  • Ensure effective Transfer to Operations, complying with Service Readiness and maintaining high standards for operational support material
  • Provide and maintain fully documented services aligned with ITIL best practices and ensure lifecycle resourcing, training, tooling, support, and documentation with formal sign-off
  • Represent Operations in project meetings to implement service acceptance criteria and align 3rd party contracts with the support model
  • Define and deliver the end-to-end support model with Service Design and stakeholders
  • Identify and manage Operations risks and participate in stakeholder groups to improve delivery efficiency and processes

What you\'ll bring to the role

Process-driven with a strong focus on adhering to procedures and optimising workflows for greater efficiency and quality. You\'ll also have:

  • A methodical and organised approach to work, with excellent skills in planning, prioritising, and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of evaluating complex information, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering successful transition or transformation projects, driving change and implementing new processes
  • In-depth knowledge of field operations within telecoms, with experience in supporting or working alongside field teams
  • The ability to represent Operations in project meetings, aligning service acceptance criteria and ensuring a seamless transition to operations
