This is a hybrid role which will cover either the Kent or Sussex regions, with at least 2 days working from your local office per week. How you’ll change it up:

As an Area Commercial Manager, you’ll oversee the commercial and contractual management of telecoms projects including new builds, city enhancements, BDUK government contracts, and field service frameworks. Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing commercial resources and contract controls
  • Supporting project variations and risk mitigation
  • Providing commercial expertise, including valuation certification, correspondence, claims, and performance data
  • Ensuring accurate cost and value data at project and regional levels
  • Mentoring junior team members

What you’ll bring to the role:

Ideally, you have senior commercial management experience, procurement knowledge of NEC3 ECC forms, and a background in telecoms, civil engineering, or utilities. Additional qualities include:

  • Quantity Surveying experience
  • Negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing large capital expenditure projects
  • Data-driven financial reporting skills
  • HNC/HND or equivalent education
