This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in our Covent Garden office 3 days per week.

Joining us as a Public Affairs & Policy Advisor
You will produce clear, concise briefings on issues impacting CityFibre’s success, helping to secure government support. You\’ll coordinate cross-departmental efforts to engage local MPs and play a key role in planning and delivering parliamentary events with the wider team.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with MPs, Lords, Select Committees, and civil servants
- Lead CityFibre’s engagement with APPGs and trade associations, shaping industry position
- Leading political and parliamentary monitoring, stakeholder mapping and horizon-scanning, pro-actively identifying opportunities and risks
- Provide timely policy advice and strategic updates to senior leadership
What you’ll bring to the role
You will have a strong background in Public Affairs, either from an agency or in-house role, with hands-on experience supporting MPs or Lords. You’ll also have:
- Excellent understanding of Parliament, Whitehall, devolved governments, and politics in general
- Experience in political or public affairs roles, ideally with direct MP engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to present complex issues clearly
