Joining us as a Fibre Quality Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of the CityFibre network. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving faults across the network, from the Fibre Exchange to the end-user premises.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Leveraging your hands-on experience with fibre, to manage and maintain network performance
- Diagnosing and resolving network issues, including signal loss and physical damage, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal service
- Utilising advanced diagnostic tools to assess and troubleshoot network issues efficiently
- Managing complex installations and repairs, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring tasks are completed promptly on the day of service
- Adapting to evolving operational needs and diverse working environments, including outdoor installations and network centres, with a readiness to travel when required
What You’ll Bring To The Role:
- You’ll have a strong background working with fibre, including knowledge of network build, FTTx installation, fibre blowing and fibre splicing.
- You’ll also have:
- Core network fault finding problem solving skills
- Experience of auditing safe systems of works
- Experience of OTDR / IOLM testing and knowledge of PIA – duct and/or pole installations
- NRSWA – units 2 and 10
- SA001 and SA002 Smart Awards
- Driving licence valid in the UK
