Joining us as a Senior Communications Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and protecting CityFibre’s external reputation by delivering proactive, confident and effective communications across a fast‑moving media landscape. You’ll receive a salary up to £60,000, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Leading media relations and press office activity across trade, technology, local and national media
  • Delivering external communications plans that reinforce CityFibre’s narrative and business priorities
  • Identifying and executing proactive media opportunities in collaboration with social and content teams
  • Developing clear, engaging content to communicate key messages and drive awareness
  • Monitoring media coverage and industry trends, reporting impact and advising senior leaders

What you’ll bring to the role:

You will have strong experience delivering external communications and media activity that protects and enhances organisational reputation, with the confidence to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑profile environment. You will also have:

  • Proven experience building and maintaining effective media relationships across national, telecom and technology press
  • A strong background in developing communications plans, timelines and proactive media opportunities
  • Experience running a responsive press office, managing reputational risk and working to tight deadlines
  • The ability to analyse data to identify trends, insights and clear messages
  • Experience in financial PR, content creation and stakeholder management
