Joining us as a Network Maintenance Supervisor
The Network Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for safeguarding CityFibre’s network infrastructure across a national area, overseeing civil and fibre construction activities. The role ensures timely, compliant delivery of maintenance and diversionary works, supporting out-of-hours operations and emergency restoration services.
You’ll receive a salaryup to £43,000a car allowance, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.
This is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Act as the first responder and point of contact for ERS, Section 81s, network damages, and diversionary works
- Conduct impact assessments, manage cable migrations, and coordinate with external stakeholders to meet delivery milestones
- Perform routine asset inspections, document findings, and arrange corrective actions to maintain network integrity
- Support complex maintenance tasks and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across all field activities
What you’ll bring to the role
Someone with the skills and experience for this role would be adept at supervising field-based fibre and civils maintenance, managing emergency and planned works, ensuring compliance with safety and street works regulations, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to protect and maintain telecoms infrastructure.
You’ll also have:
- Proven supervisory experience in utilities or telecoms, with strong knowledge of NRSWA and fibre network infrastructure
- Hands-on experience in OSP telecoms build including civils, cabling, and splicing, with solid understanding of CDM regulations
- Skilled in risk assessment, stakeholder negotiation, and managing contracted engineering works under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiar with workflow and planning software such as QGIS, Salesforce, or ServiceNow
