HR Officer - 6 month in Irlam

CityFibre provides wholesale connectivity to multiple business and consumer service providers, local authorities and mobile operators.

What you’ll be doing:

• Take ownership of employee relations cases, from performance and absence management to drafting outcome letters with care and precision
• Be the go‑to person for HR queries, offering clear, supportive advice to employees and managers on policies and processes

Guide and coach managers through HR procedures, helping them feel confident and empowered in handling people matters

• Keep our HR data accurate and reliable, while spotting opportunities to make processes smoother and more efficient
• Work closely with a collaborative HR rara, using tools like Fresh Works to track queries and ensure everyone gets the support they need

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Confidence in handling employee relations cases, with sound judgment and the ability to manage sensitive situations thoughtfully
• Strong communication and coaching skills, helping managers feel supported and empowered through HR processes
• A collaborative mindset and team spirit, ready to “back each other” and contribute positively to a close‑knit HR team
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, ensuring accuracy in HR data and smooth case management
• Adaptability and resilience, thriving in a fast‑paced environment and embracing change with a flexible approach
