This is an exciting opportunity to join City West Country Ltd in our Mercedes-Benz of Truro dealership! We are looking for a Vehicle Health Specialist to support customers in identifying, explaining and assisting in repair costs. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills with a sales background preferred.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Vehicle Health Check Specialist you will bridge the gap between the workshop and customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews technician video/written health checks to identify, explain, and sell necessary maintenance to customers.
- Acts as the link between technicians and customers to explain repair needs, costs, and timelines.
- Promotes additional services, value-added products, and service plans to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Translates complex technical data into understandable, transparent advice for the customer.
- Documents all authorised work in Systems (e.g., Keyloop), booking appointments, and preparing invoices.
- Communicates with workshop controllers to deliver quality service, on time.
- Ensures to meet customer and workshop expectations.
- Communicates and influences colleagues across all business areas.
- Effectively liaises with relevant departments across the business.
- Gives customer focus priority throughout the service operation.
- Communicates and develops strong professional relationships with customers to deliver a high level of service.
- Ensures that the customer is fully informed of any changes to costs including invoice explanation and advising on any future requirements.
- Ensures that the authorisation of warranty and goodwill meets the manufacturers recommendations.
- Meets with the service manager to review performance and suggest improvements.
- Ensures all areas of Health & Safety operate effectively and within the requirements of the law.
- Builds good relationships with manufacturers, professional bodies, suppliers and statutory representatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous service experience within the Motor industry.
- Experience of a customer focussed environment.
- Specialist/technical product knowledge.
- Admin and IT Skills.
