Salary: up to £12.71 per hour

Location: Plymouth

Hours: Saturdays 09:00-17:00, Sundays 10:00-16:00 and Bank Holidays plus opportunities for additional cover when needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to join City West Country Ltd. in our Mercedes-Benz of Plymouth dealership. We are looking for a Receptionist/Host to create a warm welcome for all customers, ensuring their visit is memorable. This role is pivotal to creating the best customer experience in our dealership. The right candidate will know how to converse with a range of customers, think on your feet to ensure all queries are dealt with and be able to confidently use our admin systems.

What you'll be doing:

As a Receptionist/Host you will deliver exceptional customer service by providing a warm, professional welcome, efficiently directing customers to the appropriate sales staff, accurately managing customer information within CRM systems, and consistently maintaining high standards in line with business and franchise requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for dealing with all sales/service enquiries, ensuring all queries are dealt with appropriately within agreed timescales – this includes gathering correct information about all enquiries and sourcing the correct staff member to assist further.
  • Approaches & welcomes all visitors in a friendly and open manner.
  • Capturing customer data to ensure that information is consistent.
  • Monitoring sales activity and evaluating the quality of information, ensuring the sales process is followed with every customer and that information is consistent across all databases.
  • Providing all customers in the showroom/reception with immediate attention.
  • Providing administration and general support to the sales & service departments (including creating new customers and amending information in the CRM, photocopying documents, making drinks, etc.).
  • Regularly updating the Sales and Service Managers on all progress and involving them immediately with respect to any issues encountered.
