What You’ll Be Doing
You will be responsible for restoring and enhancing vehicle paintwork through professional machine polishing and ensuring every vehicle meets company quality standards before delivery to the customer. This role requires excellent attention to detail, knowledge of paint correction techniques, and a commitment to delivering exceptional vehicle presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Polishing- Perform machine polishing and paint correction to remove light scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, and imperfections.
- Apply finishing compounds, polishes, waxes, ceramic coatings, or paint protection products as required.
- Inspect vehicle paint surfaces before and after polishing.
- Ensure all painted surfaces achieve a high-quality finish without holograms or buffer trails.
- Clean and maintain polishing equipment, pads, and work area.
- Conduct a comprehensive final inspection of completed vehicles before customer delivery.
- Inspect vehicle cleanliness, including interior and exterior presentation.
- Verify all repair work has been completed to company standards.
- Ensure no defects, scratches, dents, or unfinished work remain.
- Complete QC checklists and report any issues requiring rework.
- Liaising closely with the Quality control team.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Handle vehicles carefully to prevent damage.
- Support other QC duties when required.
- Meet productivity and quality targets.
