Salary: Up to £28,500 based on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00. Some weekend working required with time back in lieu.

Location: Office-based role in Exeter

Requirements: Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join City West Country Ltd in our Exeter Head Office as a Marketing Co-Ordinator. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and delivering engaging content across the CWC portfolio to increase brand awareness and generate leads. Working closely with Sales and Aftersales teams, you'll implement content calendars, develop website and social media content, and support tactical marketing campaigns that drive business growth.

While this is predominantly a Monday to Friday role, it will require some weekend working to help with our events and answering customer queries via our Social Media platforms, this will be given back as time in lieu. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Marketing Co-Ordinator you will drive brand awareness and lead generation by creating engaging content, including blogs, across the CWC portfolio. You will support Sales and Aftersales teams through targeted tactical marketing campaigns that contribute to business growth, while also assisting with a range of marketing activities, including events, GDPR compliance, eMarketing and direct mail initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of a content calendar to support Sales and After Sales campaigns and marketing activities.
  • Create and schedule content in line with content calendar, taking into account key requirements from the manufacturer and market indicators.
  • With support of the website lead, create and maintain engaging web content in line with manufacturer standards and key SEO/GEO focuses.
  • Ensure all outgoing material is professional, proof-read, legally compliant and aligned to mandated brand guidelines.
  • Liaise with and co-ordinate engaging content via videographers, photographers and influencers.
  • Support with analysing and reporting on individual activities, tracking openers, CTR, engagement and conversions.
  • Where applicable, support the business with advertising and PR opportunities (organic and paid).
  • Provide reporting and insights when required for marketing board meetings.
  • Share key learnings and best practices with the marketing team.
  • Assist on new projects and support the team as per the needs of the team and business (including eMarketing, GDPR, event, graphic, and direct mail support).
  • Champion culture changes across all businesses.
  • Communicate clearly, regularly and promptly with colleagues across all business areas.
  • Communicate the CWC culture of quality and excellence through channels of influence.
  • Engage with and deliver initiatives that support the CWC customer journey and Core Objectives.
  • Identify training and development needs for yourself as part of the performance management process.
  • Act and respond flexibly to meet the needs of the business.
  • Ensure all capital outlay is authorised by a line or dept manager.
  • Conduct competitor research bi-annually to understand competitor communication and customer journeys.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with a CMS (preferably Wordpress or Magento) and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with marketing platforms (preferably Campaign Monitor and Hubspot).
  • eCommerce experience is essential.
  • SEO experience desirable.
  • Organised self-starter.
  • Maintain calm under pressure.
  • Great multi-tasker and project management skills.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Works effectively as part of a team.
