This is an exciting opportunity to join City West Country Ltd in our Mercedes-Benz of Truro dealership! We are looking for a Service Advisor to be responsible for leading the Service department to maximise operational efficiency, profitability, sales performance, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with company and franchise standards. The right candidate will drive business growth opportunities and deliver departmental KPIs, financial targets, and customer service objectives in line with annual budgets.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Service Advisor you will be the main source of support for parts and service advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the City West Country culture of quality, professionalism, and customer excellence.
- Manage the efficient day-to-day operation of the Service and Parts departments to achieve performance, productivity, and profitability targets.
- Deliver high standards of customer service by ensuring customers are fully informed throughout the service and parts process.
- Develop service and parts sales opportunities while promoting company products and services.
- Lead, motivate, and support workshop and parts teams to achieve operational and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all business departments.
- Maintain accurate workshop, technical, stock, and customer information systems.
- Oversee parts ordering, stock control, and manufacturer deliveries in line with company procedures.
- Ensure warranty, goodwill, and invoicing processes comply with manufacturer and company standards.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and franchise requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and team development.
What We’re Looking For
- Competent IT Skills
- Experience of a customer focussed environment ideally in parts or service
- Good telephone and interpersonal skills
- Must be accurate and show attention to detail
