Salary: Competitive based on experience with an uncapped bonus scheme
Hours: Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis paid at time and a half to increase your earnings!
We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join the electric journey, in our thriving Aftersales team at BYD of Exeter! BYD has grown rapidly across Europe, Asia and Latin America, establishing itself as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electrified and fully electric vehicles. The successful candidate will play a key role in diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs, completing vehicle inspections, and ensuring all work meets BYD’s standards for quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Technician responsibilities:
- Performs all maintenance services in line with the company and Mercedes-Benz standards and processes
- Completes a comprehensive diagnosis and repair job sheet
- Carries out all repair work using all available workshop information systems necessary to store vehicle system functions
- Advises Service Team Manager of any additional work required
- Carries out a final inspection and function tests on all complex repair work
- Completes final documentation for invoicing
What's required from you?
- Previous experience within the Motor industry, preferably experience with passenger cars
- Certified technician qualifications (Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance)
- A strong team player with great attention to detail
- Openness to learning and developing within the service industry
