Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional clinician and/or academic with experience in medical education and assessment. The post holder will have responsibility for the delivery and oversight of all assessments for Transition Year Medical students. It is an excellent opportunity to be involved formally in the assessment of future colleagues and work with a committed clinical, academic and administrative assessment team.

Person Specification

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

  • Experience as an academic and/or clinician to at least SpR / Lecturer or level (current or recent)
  • Proven record in medical education (appropriate training and support will be provided)
  • Accurate worker, high attention to detail and high level of organisation
  • Passion for delivering high quality assessment
  • Strong organisation and time-management
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues and students
  • Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems.
