Overview
The appointed Senior Course Officer will be responsible for the operational management of a range of activities supporting several of the School\’s programmes. They will line manage a team of 4 Course Officers and will be responsible for managing key events and activities in the academic calendar, such as module selection. They will also work closely with the Course Operations Manager on year-long activities such as the creation and maintenance of course timetables. They will focus on implementing established processes and practice and ensuring the provision of high quality and efficient student administration.

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent; relevant experience in Higher Education course/programme administration, ideally including timetabling.
- Confident using IT systems including student databases (ideally SITS).
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to draft correspondence and reports.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience of staff supervision and the ability to analyse problems and develop solutions.

The City Law School

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Course Officer to join us on a fixed-term contract. The role is available as a secondment.
Selection Process
The selection process will involve an interview and assessment. Interviews will last no more than 30 minutes. There will be a short competency test to follow the interview that candidates should allocate an additional 45 mins for completion (1 hr 15 minutes in total for interview and assessment).
